Chronic sun exposure can cause brown pigmented lesions on the skin. Natura MD Color Lift’s unique formulation of 2% kojic acid and 2% hydroquinone lightens and erases these pigmented blemishes. Other ingredients that help achieve age spot removal include salicylic acid, green tea, evodia extract, and rumex. Applied twice daily, these brown spots will slowly fade away before your eyes.

Kojic Acid: Kojic acid is made from several different types of fungi. It’s also a byproduct of the fermentation of certain foods, including Japanese sake, soy sauce, and rice wine. Kojic acid inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosine, which is an amino acid needed to produce melanin. Since melanin determines hair, skin, and eye color, kojic acid can have a lightening effect.
Salicylic Acid: Also called beta hydroxy acid (BHA), this multifunctional ingredient addresses many of the systemic causes of acne. Its primary benefit is as an exfoliant, helping shed dead skin in a way similar to how skin behaves when we are younger. Because it has the ability to penetrate the pore lining and exfoliate inside the pore as well as on the skin’s surface, it is especially effective for reducing breakouts, including blackheads and whiteheads.
