What can I expect during Restylane® treatment?
During your consultation, Dr. Richardson discusses your desired goals for your Restylane® treatment. He might apply a topical anesthetic to the injection site to increase your comfort during the procedure.
Restylane® treatments take approximately 15 minutes. First, Dr. Richardson injects small amounts of dermal filler into the area. He then massages the location to ensure even distribution for a natural appearance. Dr. Richardson repeats the process until ideal results are reached.
Following your appointment, you might experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness in the area, but a cold compress or ice should relieve your symptoms. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and sun exposure for 24 hours.
